Having suffered from writer’s block – not because there wasn’t anything to write about but in fact too much! I decided that I would make it easier on myself & for the balance of the summer have regular blogs about cool, refreshing and approachable wines. Starting with these two…
CHÂTEAU MONCONTOUR TÊTE DE CUVÉE BRUT VOUVRAY, LOIRE, FRANCE - $15.95
Bright nose of green apple, pear and lime blossom. Crisp apple-lemony palate. Medium finish. Fantastic for the price! Was a stunner with Blue Haze – a smoked blue cheese. Yum!

QPR - Quality to Price Ratio - is an important factor when you are buying wine. Whether it is $9.00 or $59.00 you want to feel your wine is worth the spend. Posted below are my suggestions.
I am not an expert, just a discerning wine lover or amateur de vin (as the French say), but everyone has a different palate, likes and dislikes so it must be understood that any of my recommendations are personal. I just hope that you find them useful or at the very least - interesting. I also hope you enjoy my photos. It is more fun sharing then keeping them backed up on a hard drive.
