I am not an expert, just a discerning wine lover or amateur de vin (as the French say), but everyone has a different palate, likes and dislikes so it must be understood that any of my recommendations are personal. I finally had a long-overdue introduction to Napa & Sonoma. Of course I have been drinking the wines for years but even with all the travelling I do, I had not set foot there. What an absolute treat. In the coming weeks watch for details and stories about some of the wineries I visited...
