3 Ontario Pinot Noirs, affordably priced for the weekday budget:
EASTDELL ESTATES - PINOT NOIR - 2008 - $ 12.95
The nose shows aromas of red currant with a slight mushroom; light-bodied, juicy red-fruit, spices with a medium finish.

STONEY RIDGE ESTATE WINERY - PINOT NOIR - 2009 - $ 16.00
A real favourite, for the price. The 2009 is different in style from the previously reviewed 2007. It has less of the earthiness and is more fruit forward and medium-bodied, but is also a lovely expression of the grape.

CAVE SPRING CELLARS - PINOT NOIR - 2007 - $ 17.95
I have had both the 2007 & the 2008 and they are both lovely, delicate, complex wines.

QPR - Quality to Price Ratio - is an important factor when you are buying wine. Whether it is $9.00 or $59.00 you want to feel your wine is worth the spend. Posted below are my suggestions.
I am not an expert, just a discerning wine lover or amateur de vin (as the French say), but everyone has a different palate, likes and dislikes so it must be understood that any of my recommendations are personal. I just hope that you find them useful or at the very least - interesting. I also hope you enjoy my photos. It is more fun sharing then keeping them backed up on a hard drive.
