CHÂTEAU MONCONTOUR TÊTE DE CUVÉE BRUT VOUVRAY, LOIRE, FRANCE - $15.95
Bright nose of green apple, pear and lime blossom. Crisp apple-lemony palate. Medium finish. Fantastic for the price! Was a stunner with Blue Haze – a smoked blue cheese. Yum!
DOMAINE SIGALAS ASSYRTIKO 2010 - SANTORINI, GREECE - $21.00
Slate, stonefruit & floral nose. Pear, apple & mineral palate. Beautifully integrated, pleaser.
DOMAINE SIGALAS ASSYRTIKO/ATHIRI 2010- SANTORINI, GREECE - $16.95
The non-blend not always available at the LCBO, but the above alternative is a well-priced option!
I am not an expert, just a discerning wine lover or amateur de vin (as the French say), but everyone has a different palate, likes and dislikes so it must be understood that any of my recommendations are personal. I just hope that you find them useful or at the very least - interesting. I also hope you enjoy my photos. It is more fun sharing then keeping them backed up on a hard drive.
